About Healing Corner and Helen Corrigan
Helen holds a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, established by Patrick Holford, as well as a degree in psychology and a first class masters in health promotion.
She has extensive experience in the health field, previously having worked:
- as a health researcher in NUI Galway, UCD and RCSI
- as a lecturer in health, health promotion and physical activity in DKIT
- in health promotion practice in the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Heart Foundation.
Helen decided to specialise in nutrition as a result of significantly improving her own health through healthy eating.
She continues to develop her knowledge and skills through an extensive range of continuing professional development (CPD) courses. Her interest in and enthusiasm for nutrition knows no bounds!
